Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

The Head of Sales & Distribution is responsible for leading the overall sales operations, distribution network, market expansion, revenue growth, and sales team management of the company. The role ensures the achievement of sales targets, the development of strong distribution channels, and the implementation of effective sales strategies to maximize business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and business objectives.

  • Monitor daily, monthly, and yearly sales performance.

  • Ensure sales growth across all territories and product categories.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and target plans.

Distribution Management

  • Develop and strengthen the nationwide distribution network.

  • Ensure product availability and smooth supply chain coordination.

  • Monitor distributor performance and maintain strong business relationships.

  • Identify new market opportunities and appoint new distributors/dealers where necessary.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales and distribution teams.

  • Set KPIs and performance targets for regional and territory sales teams.

  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training, and performance reviews.

  • Build a high-performing sales culture within the organization.

Market & Business Development

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand.

  • Develop strategies for market expansion and brand penetration.

  • Coordinate with marketing and branding teams for promotional activities.

  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
