Job Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E):
Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework for the "Means to Lead" project in collaboration with project partners and stakeholders.
Design M&E tools, including surveys, questionnaires, and data collection instruments, to track project progress and outcomes.
Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites to ensure compliance with project objectives, identify challenges, and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze M&E data to generate insights and recommendations for program improvement and decision-making.
Prepare timely M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders, including UN Women and project donors.
Reporting:
Compile project progress reports, and quarterly updates in accordance with project requirements and organizational standards.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all project-related reports and submissions.
Coordinate with project staff and partners to gather relevant data, success stories, and case studies for reporting purposes.
Review and edit reports for clarity, coherence, and adherence to UN Women guidelines and reporting formats.
Facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance understanding of project outcomes, best practices, and lessons learned.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with project team members, including project manager, and field staff, to ensure alignment of M&E activities with project goals and objectives.
Liaise with UN Women, government agencies, and other stakeholders to share M&E findings, facilitate joint planning, and promote mutual accountability.
Participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and events to represent JNUS and contribute to collective efforts in advancing gender equality and women`s empowerment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Honor’s or Master`s degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or a related field.
At least five years of relevant experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, preferably within the gender equality and women`s rights sector.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods.
Experience in designing M&E frameworks, tools, and systems for development projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and compelling reports.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and data analysis software.
Demonstrated commitment to gender equality, human rights, and social justice.
