Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise raw material receiving and product loading operations at the refinery’s jetty.
∎ Coordinate vessel berthing, mooring, loading, and unloading activities safely and efficiently.
∎ Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations, refinery procedures, and environmental standards.
∎ Communicate with vessel masters, loading masters, and surveyors to ensure smooth cargo transfers.
∎ Monitor marine operations to minimize delays, demurrage, and ensure accurate cargo documentation.
∎ Inspect marine equipment and ensure readiness of hoses, pipelines, and loading arms.
∎ Lead emergency response actions for any marine incidents like oil spills or equipment failure.
∎ Maintain accurate records of ship movements, cargo operations, and incident reports.
∎ Coordinate with port authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Train and guide jetty operators and marine staff in safe and efficient work practices.
∎ Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group, is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of "Marine Supervisor- Planning & Scheduling" at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.
∎ The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:
