Responsibilities & Context:
Inspect lighter cargoes & Calculating Cargo quantity as per Draft survey.
Calculating the quantity for class certified vessel y using hydrostatic data as per International Survey standard.
Recommends remedial procedures to correct deficiencies.
Calculates hold capacities, volume of stored goods, weight of cargo and ship for maintenance.
Inspect cargo handling devices, such as boom, hoists and derricks to identify need for maintenance.
Ability to write comprehensive survey and investigation reports.
Mobile crane inspection as per ASME B30.5
Forklift inspection as per OSHA
