Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the placement printing operations to ensure efficient production processes.
∎ Coordinate with the production team to schedule printing jobs based on customer orders and deadlines.
∎ Monitor production output and implement strategies to optimize productivity while maintaining quality standards.
∎ Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that printed materials meet customer specifications and quality standards.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to identify defects or inconsistencies and take corrective actions as necessary.
∎ Supervise and provide leadership to the placement printing team, including printers, machine operators, and support staff.
∎ Train new employees on printing techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
∎ Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to support their professional development.
∎ Monitor inventory levels of printing materials, inks, and other supplies, and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment.
∎ Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
∎ Coordinate with maintenance technicians to schedule and perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruptions to production.
∎ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries in the workplace.
∎ Conduct regular safety inspections and provide training to employees on safe work practices.
