Responsibilities & Context: 1. HR Management for Factory Operations
- Formulate and implement HR policies tailored to the factory workforce and operational realities.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of workers and staff in alignment with production capacity and manpower planning.
- Manage attendance, timekeeping, leave, and payroll coordination to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture rooted in discipline, fairness, and respect.
- Handle worker grievances and conflict resolution in a timely and impartial manner.
2. Factory Administration Oversight
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of utilities, housekeeping, maintenance, transport, and other factory support services.
- Supervise factory canteen, dormitory/accommodation facilities (where applicable) to maintain hygiene and worker comfort.
- Establish and implement emergency response protocols covering fire, industrial accidents, and natural disasters.
- Control and monitor administrative cost budgets to optimize expenditure without compromising standards.
3. Compliance & Audit Management
- Ensure adherence to local labor law, labor court guidelines, worker welfare regulations, and International Compliance Standards (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ACCORD/RSC).
- Conduct internal compliance audits, identify gaps, and oversee corrective action plans.
- Coordinate buyer social audits, certification audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Implement and monitor workplace safety programs to reduce risk and prevent injuries.
4. Security & Discipline of Factory Premises
- Maintain high discipline standards across the workforce and on factory floors.
- Monitor access control, visitor movement, and factory gate security measures.
- Train and supervise security personnel to respond to theft, fire incidents, emergencies, and unrest scenarios.
- Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to manage and prevent labor unrest or collective disputes.
5. Worker Welfare, Relations & Productivity Initiatives
- Monitor and continuously improve factory work conditions, sanitation, drinking water, rest areas, and worker safety facilities.
- Organize awareness sessions on workplace safety, labor rights, health, and behavioral development.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, fairness, and mutual respect to support stable worker relations and productivity.
6. Strategic Alignment & Leadership
- Work closely with Factory Management, Production Heads, and Corporate HR to align HR and Admin strategies with production goals.
- Use workforce data and operational metrics to guide manpower planning, shift management, and resource allocation.
- Act as a communication bridge between senior management and the factory-level workforce to ensure transparency and clarity.
7. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Company Management in support of operational and organizational objectives.
