Experience:

• 8 to 10 years

B.S.C Engineering in EEE/Mechanical from reputed institution.

• 8 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Power

• 08 to 10 years with minimum 05 years of working experience in CCPP (preferable) power generation facility.

• The applicants should have experience in Power Plant (Operation shift duty).

• Age limit up to 40 years

• Should be courageous, intelligent and vigilant.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, good command in written and spoken English are must.

China Northeast Electric Power Engineering & Services Co. Ltd. (NEPCS) is an Engineering Company providing services of power plant Operation & Maintenance in Bangladesh. NEPCS has about 500 personnel working in Bangladesh, China and Philippines. Out of these 500 personnel, NEPCS has over 200 qualified and experienced engineers for Power Plants’ O&M Works. NEPCS has been employed as O&M Contractor of Summit Meghnaghat Power Company Limited. Building on its technical and organizational expertise and the significant operational experience, NEPCS offers a complete range of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to power plant owners. NEPCS has experience in setting up full scope O&M organizations to ensure safe and efficient operations, and effective management of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.

Job Description / Responsibility:

• Understands and adheres to all plant health, safety and environmental (HSE) guidelines and procedures. Strives to maintain an injury free environment.

• Monitors the operation and performance of the facility and take necessary corrective actions without delay to maintain normal operations while on shift. Takes appropriate action when necessary to ensure compliance of safety, efficiency, environmental and administrative guidelines.

• Carry out smooth plant start-up and safe shutdown causing no delay or damage to the equipment.

• Monitor and control plant operations through Distributed Control system and other process control devices.

• Prepare requisitions for operational consumables and chemicals, safely handle and prepare chemicals for various systems, and carry out light routine maintenance works such as strainer/filter cleaning, replacement of consumables of analyzers, calibration of laboratory equipment, etc.

• Make rounds in the field and take field readings as specified in the Daily Log Sheets of the area equipment.

• Maintain and update Plant Operation records and prepare and/or assist to prepare all required reports on plant operations.

• Ensure correct and effective use of Permit to Work, Lockout/Tag out, Hot Work and Confined Space Entry procedures.

• Assists in scheduling daily and scheduled maintenance activities, any modification to improve plant performance and smooth operation.

• Responsible to audit of Lockout/Tag out documents, Hot Work and Confined Space Entry permits on a monthly basis.

• Raise work orders in CMMS.

• Coordinate the operation of the plant with Load Dispatch Centre (LDC) of BPDB and the RMS of Titas.

• Identify problems of plant equipment and communicate those problems with sufficient clarity and explanation to plant maintenance group verbally and by describing in work orders in CMMS.

• Participate in plant training and qualification program.

• Becomes Systems Expert in all areas of plant operations and develops and maintains procedures for those areas and serves as a resource person to others.

• Clean the site and plant equipment as needed.

• Participate in social responsibility works and other task forces.

• Perform any other works as and when instructed by the Operations General Manager and DGM.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot for operation, maintenance and environment of all plant and support and/or coordinate with all maintenance parts to meet maximum reliable, economical, efficient operation of plant.

• Cooperate   with   other   operation   employee to meet most safe, reliable and maximum efficient operation in the plant.

• Develop and follow procedures of optimum operation for most safe, reliable and maximum efficient operation in the plant.

• A hands-on background in Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, water treatment equipment, high-pressure boilers, cooling water systems, Electrical systems equipment`s operation.

• Assist in the update of drawings and prints as changes are made.

• Provide leadership and job coordination on critical repairs or projects

• Maintain positive community relations.

• Assist emergency recovery organization system for unexpected emergency situation of plant.

•  Should be comfortable wearing PPE for any work inside the plants.

• Follow all kind of company regulations and rules including HSE.

• Provide the idea for Energy Saving and Plant Modification.

• Proactively participate in and contribute to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.

• Other than above clauses, follow all instruction which is made by management.

Salary Range: Negotiable but Attractive package will be offered commensurate with experience & qualification.
