Lead the planning, costing, and allocation of routes and vehicles, ensuring sufficient flexibility to meet sales and operational demands.
Ensure full compliance of all vehicles with all legal, regulatory and contractual requirements; escalate issues and recommend corrective actions to the Service Manager when required.
Ensure high standards of service delivery through the consistent application of recognized standards and established policies, procedures and practices.
Regular communication with RM, AM of Milk Collection, Marketing, Sales, Production, Procurement department for smooth operation.
Lead all distribution and transportation planning and strategic initiatives to ensure efficient and timely operations.
Monitor transportation performance and costs, identify inefficiencies, and implement initiatives to reduce operational expenses.
Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders.
Sound administrative action, train and motivates for managing and developing team members.
Liaise with civil and government authorities to ensure smooth transportation operations and regulatory compliance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation and stay up to date with safety regulations
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
