Educational Qualifications

  • Professional education and training in financial product design and rollout will be considered an added advantage.

Work Experience

  • Senior management-level experience in financial product design and rollout, policy development and review, and relevant business support functions.

Technical Knowledge

  • Professional training and practical experience in treasury operations and product risk management.

  • Experience working with IT teams on software and mobile application-based product development and operational support will be preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Experience in team management.

  • Experience working and communicating with department-head-level officials.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with large teams.



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Key Functions

  • Regularly review existing loan and savings products of the Microfinance Program and ensure they remain aligned with members’ expectations and competitive with market offerings.

  • Design, obtain approval for, and roll out new loan and savings products to support the growth of Microfinance Program operations.

  • Analyze the performance of existing loan and savings products across different regions, identify reasons for success or underperformance, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure that the ERP system and mobile applications function properly and contain all required features, reports, and data necessary for the Microfinance Program.

  • Conduct field visits to assess product effectiveness and maintain regular communication with stakeholders for product design and development.

  • Ensure the effective rollout and operation of projects managed under the New Initiatives Services Team.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

A. Loan and Savings Product Management

  • Conduct comparative analyses of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ loan and savings products to identify required changes in organizational products and policies. Take necessary steps through the supervisor to obtain approval for such changes.

  • Ensure effective field operations by configuring loan products and implementing any approved changes in the ERP system.

  • Ensure effective field operations by configuring savings products and implementing any approved changes in the ERP system.

  • Analyze the performance of loan and savings products from different perspectives and present findings and recommendations to management.

B. New Initiatives

  • Take necessary actions to implement management-approved projects related to microfinance.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken under different projects and recommend required improvements.

C. Incentives and Allowances

  • Develop and implement effective incentive policies to sustain and improve the overall performance of the Microfinance Program.

  • Manage policy interpretation, implementation, calculation, and disbursement of incentives to employees’ accounts.

D. ERP System and Mobile Applications

  • Arrange solutions for access-related issues in the ERP system concerning the Microfinance Program.

  • Resolve reporting-related issues within the ERP system.

  • Ensure resolution of any Microfinance Program-related issues in mobile applications.

E. Cross-Departmental Support

  • Support the implementation of projects or events undertaken jointly with other programs or departments.

F. Implementation of Committee Decisions

  • Implement or assist in implementing decisions approved by various organizational committees.
