Experience:
University degree or equivalent – preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Development studies or MBA in Business Analytics.
Typically, 5-6 years overall related professional experience whereas minimum 2 years’ experience in development/humanitarian sector.
Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is a must.
Visual Basic programming language and statistical packages will be considered as an asset.
Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel / Word / PowerPoint).
Previous experience with databases and data management (specialized software).
Ability to interact effectively with data users, managers and other stakeholders.
Excellent command of English.
Strong analytical and evaluative skills, self-disciplined.
Willingness to learn new technology.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. THE PURPOSE
Data and information management is the backbone for ICRC's Protection work. The Data & Analytics Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that protection data is properly managed through the entire Data Life Cycle.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and coordinates the Protection Data Team, ensuring timely and accurate data processing, entry, validation, and case management.
Manages the Protection case management tools used by the delegation, including providing first-level technical support to users.
Applies organizational guidance, workflows, and data entry procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with operational requirements, while contributing to the continuous improvement of data management processes in collaboration with the Protection team.
Provides first-level technical support to the National Society for its case management tool.
Monitors and improve data quality through regular verification, cleaning, analysis, and quality-control processes, while identifying and addressing data inconsistencies and reporting gaps.
Analyzes protection data, identify trends, and produces statistics, reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs to support operational planning, monitoring, performance measurement, and decision-making.
Supports reporting requirements, including internal and external reports, Protection Statistics, Planning and Monitoring tool, and ad hoc analytical requests.
Contributes to the development and improvement of data management tools, reporting systems, and automated data quality-control processes.
Provides technical guidance, coaching, and training to Protection colleagues and Data Team members on data management standards, tools, and best practices.
Ensures compliance with data protection, confidentiality, data security, and information management policies, safeguarding sensitive personal data at all times.
