Experience:
BSc in Textile Technology with specialization in Fabric Manufacturing or Wet Processing from any reputed university.
A deep understanding of the trims and accessories industry, including market demand and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical skills in market analysis for product costing, product certification, and testing parameters.
At least 5 years of experience in the same role.
Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
Should have analytical ability, time management & with record of accomplishment.
Ability to solve problems and present solutions.
1. Achieve daily production targets, ensuring alignment with buyer requirements to uphold high-quality standards.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional departments (cutting, sewing, and finishing) to develop and execute a production schedule.
3. Create work schedules for the production team, communicating expectations to meet production targets and objectives.
4. Optimize resource utilization and directly manage cross-functional leaders, including:
• Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Heads
• Functional Head (IE)
5. Secure materials, labor, and equipment to meet production timelines effectively.
6. Lead initiatives for full capacity utilization and waste reduction.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with production staff, maintaining strong leadership.
8. Apply expertise in layout planning and production process management to adhere to production schedules and meet shipment deadlines.
9. Maximize productivity through optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
10. Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and other support departments.
11. Leverage in-depth knowledge of weaving, knitting, printing, and warping to manage necessary materials (nylon, polyester, cotton, rubber, spandex, dyes, chemicals, and ink).
12. Minimize overhead costs by adhering to budget plans and accurately calculating pricing.
13. Assess and evaluate current employees to identify and recommend future leadership successors.
14. Engage in projects, initiatives, and events assigned by management that contribute to the organization’s overall well-being, business results, and the happiness of its stakeholders.
