• Diploma/Certificate in CAD Pattern Making / Garment Technology.

• Training on CAD software (e.g., Gt cad) will be considered an advantage.

• 5 to 8 years’ experience in a garment buying house / factory CAD department.

• Freshers with strong technical skills may apply.

• Strong expertise in CAD software.

• Good understanding of garment construction, measurements, and fitting.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Good Communication skill.

• Have good knowledge on consumption, pattern, marker, etc.

• Communicating with merchandiser and production personnel

• Collecting Sketch & Spec from Merchandiser department

• Preparing the Tech File for Sample Department

• Planning the allocation of the sample room's staff within the section.

• Ensuring that fabrics, thread and trimmings are available to produce a sample garment.

• Making a daily sample production plan.

• Setting daily production targets for each sample operator.

• Identifying and applying the most suitable processes to solve manufacturing problems.

• Maintaining records of pattern sets.

• Monitor and manage a sample room of sewing workers, garment technicians to ensure all samples are made under customers' requirements and meet the schedule.

• Responsible to evaluate and approve all samples from development, fitting, adjustment and approval.

• Provide technical advice in the whole merchandising and production cycle, deliver customers' requirements to production parties on pre-production meeting.

• Handling paper pattern and adjustment.

• Dealing with foreign buyers and designers for new sample development.

• Ensuring Technical, design, pattern or equivalent qualification in all kind of fashions.

• Providing technical advice and support to R&D and Production Department on the industrialization of new design & fitting approval for newly developed styles & during bulk production (to co-operate with R&D team & Factory).

• Ensuring Establishment and application the standard of fit and construction from concept through to bulk production.

• Ensuring pre-production sample are developed according to the established fit & quality standards as well as complying with cost specification.

• Maintaining accurate inventory in sample room.

• Develop accurate CAD patterns for woven/knit garments as per buyer requirements.

• Prepare marker planning and consumption for costing & production.

• Ensure pattern accuracy with proper grading, shape, balance, and measurements.

• Review tech packs, size specs, and make necessary pattern adjustments.

• Communicate with the merchandising and sampling team to ensure correct sample development.

• Troubleshoot fitting, pattern, and sizing issues to ensure proper garment construction.

• Maintain CAD files, pattern library, and documentation.

• Provide technical support during sample and bulk production stages.

• Only have experience of working in buying house.
