About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of System Administration to oversee our core server infrastructure, virtualization environments, and enterprise applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Windows Infrastructure: Manage the Active Directory (AD) environment, including Primary Domain Controller (PDC) and Additional Domain Controller (ADC). Oversee Azure AD Connect (AADC) and maintain a Hybrid Active Directory environment. Manage and maintain 450+ GPOs and perform monthly security benchmarking and compliance validation. Administer core Windows services like WDS, WSUS, and high-availability DHCP setups with load balancing.

• Linux Infrastructure: Manage 50+ production virtual machines operating on AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu. Ensure regular patching, security updates, bug fixing, and kernel lifecycle management. Handle virtual host creation, Domain and DNS management (including GoDaddy), and web hosting administration.

• Virtualization & Backup: Oversee the VMware Environment, including VMware Hypervisor (ESXi), vCenter Management, and vMotion. Maintain the Proxmox Hypervisor and handle virtual machine lifecycle management. Design backup policies, manage replication, and conduct restore testing for disaster recovery readiness using Veeam Backup & Replication.

• Identity & Azure Administration: Configure Azure identity and access management, Azure Policy implementation, and security monitoring. Synchronize on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD and manage Azure virtual networks. Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations for Google Workspace, Microsoft Services, Zoom, Cisco ASA, Versa (SASE), Oracle ERP, and local AD authentication.

• IT Management & Security: Utilize the ManageEngine Suite for AD Audit Plus, AD Manager Plus, Patch Manager, Log360, Firewall Analyzer, and OpManager. Implement CIS Benchmarks, deploy XDR, and manage centralized logs and security alerts. Provide technical support and evidence preparation for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 audits.

• Governance & Leadership: Hold regular meetings with US and Bangladesh (BD) Management to align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives. Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, allocate resources, and assess risks. Handle annual IT budget forecasting, CapEx and OpEx planning, vendor management, and ROI analysis for investments.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

• 6+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing complex server and cloud infrastructures.

• Proven experience managing hybrid Active Directory environments, enterprise virtualization (VMware/Proxmox), and Linux/Windows server administration.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Azure Administrator Associate

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

• ITIL v4 Foundation

• Linux certifications (e.g., RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+) are a strong plus.
