Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor overall operation and maintenance activities in the Dockyard
∎ Develop and implement operational strategies so that the operational activities meet the organizational requirements.
∎ Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
∎ Estimate budget for operation and maintenance and control expenses
∎ Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources for cost optimization
∎ Allocate workload and track the performance of the staffs
∎ Conduct yearly inventory and submit report to management
∎ Ensure proper compliance in dockyard and vessels as per MMD guidelines
∎ Maintain continuous relationship with the trade union of vessels and other government bodies
∎ Maintain a safe, healthy and clean work environment as per safety guideline
Additional Requirements:
∎ Graduate Engineer who has 7 years' experience in maintenance site of Dockyard, can also apply
∎ Knowledge in all machineries of dockyard such as Winch, Main and Auxiliary Engine, Slipway, Electrical and hydraulic systems, Propeller ,Gearbox, Steering Gear Systems and Alignment and fitting
∎ Knowledge on Shipping Operation
∎ Leadership and people management skills.
∎ Should have necessary computer knowledge on MS Office.
∎ Ability of hazards identification and risk management.
∎ Positive approach to handle critical situation
