Additional Requirements: - Proficient in AutoCAD & SolidWorks for mechanical design.
- Skilled in vibration analysis & predictive maintenance.
- Knowledge of PESO, OISD, ASME, API codes.
- Experienced in MS Project / SAP PM for maintenance planning.
Responsibilities & Context: - Act as the final technical authority for all mechanical systems, modifications, and engineering approvals across the LPG bottling plant.
- Ensure optimum performance, reliability, and availability of LPG bullets, pipelines, pumps, compressors, vaporizers, filling machines, carousels, conveyors, and fire-fighting systems.
- Lead Mechanical Integrity Management (MIM) for all pressure-containing and rotating equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies including Preventive Inspection & Validation (PIV), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Drive root-cause failure analysis (RCFA) and ensure permanent corrective actions to eliminate repeat breakdowns and operational losses.
- Provide strong leadership to a disciplined mechanical team and contractors, ensuring skill development, performance excellence, and accountability.
- Enforce uncompromising safety standards, quality workmanship, and safe operating practices across all mechanical activities.
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of LPG bottling plant mechanical systems, pressure vessels, piping networks, rotating equipment, valves, and safety systems.
- Lead and oversee inspection, testing, NDT, welding activities, hydro testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Exhibit strong leadership, crisis management, and decision-making capabilities to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations.
