We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated person for the following position:
∎ The purpose of the position is to create a new buyer and ensure companies` maximum profitability without overlapping with existing buyer’s in apparel. The position also markets textiles, for instance, knitting and dyeing, to be utilized optimum level of capacity.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have strong sourcing capability to onboard new buyers.
∎ Supervise, coordinate and lead a merchandising team independently and should have a vast knowledge of knit garments.
∎ Must have sound knowledge about the product 100% accurate costing & pricing process/procedure.
∎ Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling & required information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyers.
∎ Have to manage client accounts from order inquiry to shipment, Inventory, and Supply chain planning.
∎ Vast knowledge to work through the special imported fabric.
∎ Responsible for proper follow-up and committed to the timeline given by Buyers and obviously meet the deadline.
∎ Co-ordinates with the production team in order to deliver the on-time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to the buyer.
∎ Have to take care of all aspects of quality from the initial to the final stage of the production.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years & including 06 years as the same position work experience in local or global organization;
∎ Industry or business area: Incumbents those who have work experience in the knit garments /textiles industry will get preferences;
∎ Sound understanding of the merchandising process;
∎ The person must have to stay near the factory location.
