Garments Production
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Utilization of metrics and analytical tools that assess Production capacity, operational efficiency, resource optimization, etc.
∎ Ensure overall On-Time-Delivery of finished products to the next production line.
∎ Ensure product standards and quality control programs as per QMS are implemented on the shop floor. Prepare & implement SOPs wherever required.
∎ Focus on increasing manpower optimization for sewing unit & reducing Excess Over Time (EOT).
∎ Partner with cross-functional teams to include Merchandising, Sourcing, Technical Design and other production units to ensure all phases of division objectives from initial design to final product and delivery are being achieved.
∎ Experienced in sample assessment, pattern making, production and garment construction skills.
∎ Monitor process and ensure improvement in buyer’s Storage Resource Management – SRM rating.
∎ Ensure the final product is fit for First time through – FTT and track improvements for process development.
∎ Monitor 3P (Production, Process, Planning) system and One Piece Flow – OPF on daily basis.
∎ Ensure availability of raw material as per production plans & schedules. Coordinate with other departments to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw material and other consumables in order to maintain uninterrupted supply at the workstations.
∎ Follow processes & systems for the shop floor for effective utilization of raw material, etc. as per inventory levels and availability.
∎ Conduct Pre-Production Tests of materials and get approvals from buyers as per specifications.
∎ Reduction of Non-productive-time of Machineries, process loss of material & Cost per minute.
∎ Coordinate daily production activities and delegate assignments to production personnel as per the production schedule finalized in Pre-Production planning meets.
∎ Participate in all discussions, deliberations and solution finding for the assigned unit.
∎ Assist Seniors in in-depth root cause analysis and drive all planned initiatives to eliminate causes and achieve Operational Excellence
