Education:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering

Skills Required: Supply Chain Management, Negotiation Persuasion Skills, Suppliers and Vendor Management, Raw material analysis, ERP Software

Additional Requirements:

Sound understanding of construction materials, specifications, supplier markets, logistics, and inventory management.

Experience in ERP/procurement systems and MS Office.

Ability to work effectively with multiple projects and cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel to project sites when required.



Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement, sourcing, logistics, and material management activities for construction and infrastructure projects.

  2. Plan and ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, machinery, spare parts, and project requirements.

  3. Develop and maintain a reliable supplier/vendor network and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and performance.

  4. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.

  5. Coordinate closely with Project, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Store, and Site teams to ensure uninterrupted project operations.

  6. Monitor procurement schedules, material availability, inventory levels, delivery status, and supply chain costs.

  7. Identify alternative sources and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining required quality standards.

  8. Establish effective supply chain procedures, systems, and controls in line with company policies.

  9. Prepare and monitor procurement plans aligned with project schedules and budgets.

  10. Lead and develop the Supply Chain/Procurement team and ensure timely execution of procurement activities.
