Job Context
Aurelia Energy & Engineering is seeking a technically competent, experienced, and result-oriented Project Engineer for Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Wind Energy, EV Charging Infrastructure, and related electrical and mechanical engineering projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for site surveys, technical assessments, engineering design, project planning, procurement coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and successful project handover.
Practical project experience in both Solar PV and BESS is mandatory. Experience in Wind Energy and EV Charging Infrastructure will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and supervise Solar PV, BESS, Wind Energy, EV Charging Infrastructure, and related electrical and mechanical engineering projects.
Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, load assessments, and technical evaluations based on customer requirements.
Prepare engineering designs, system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), BOQs, technical specifications, cost estimates, and project proposals.
Support the design, sizing, installation, and integration of Solar PV, BESS, hybrid inverters, PCS, BMS, EMS, grid connections, and associated electrical equipment.
Prepare project schedules, material requirements, procurement plans, and implementation strategies.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.
Supervise equipment installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover.
Monitor project progress, installation quality, safety, costs, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
Provide technical support for system performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales services.
Coordinate and supervise technicians, installation teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Educational Requirements
B.Sc. / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a recognized university/institution.
Professional training or certifications in Solar PV, BESS, Renewable Energy, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
4–8 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, renewable energy, or project execution.
Mandatory practical experience in both Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Experience in on-grid, hybrid, rooftop, ground-mounted, commercial, or industrial Solar PV systems.
Practical experience in BESS installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with lithium-ion/LFP batteries, BMS, PCS, EMS, hybrid inverters, and grid integration.
Experience in Wind Energy systems and EV Charging Infrastructure (AC/DC chargers) will be an added advantage.
Experience in EPC projects, contractor supervision, procurement coordination, and project documentation.
Candidates with demonstrated experience in successfully executing and commissioning renewable energy projects will receive preference.
Additional Requirements
Strong technical understanding of Solar PV, BESS, electrical power systems, protection systems, and renewable energy integration.
Ability to independently conduct site surveys, prepare technical designs, BOQs, cost estimates, and project documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant engineering software.
Knowledge of PVsyst, MS Project, or other project management tools will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of project costing, material selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning procedures.
Strong technical problem-solving, coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
Good communication skills in English and Bangla.
Willingness to travel and stay at project sites anywhere in Bangladesh as required.
Self-motivated, responsible, result-oriented, and capable of handling multiple assignments.
