Position 1: Solar Engineer

Designation: Engineer – Solar & Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct site surveys, assess technical feasibility and understand customer requirements.

2. Design on-grid, hybrid and off-grid solar PV systems.

3. Prepare system layouts, SLDs, BOQs, cost estimates and commercial quotations.

4. Coordinate with suppliers for product selection, pricing, availability and procurement.

5. Communicate with customers and provide technical recommendations.

6. Supervise installation teams, testing, commissioning and project handover.

7. Troubleshoot technical and site-related issues.

8. Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned projects, from site survey to commissioning.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Sc. / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience & Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in solar PV and renewable energy projects.

• Practical knowledge of on-grid, hybrid and off-grid solar systems.

• Experience in solar system design, BOQ preparation, costing and project execution.

• Familiarity with PVsyst, AutoCAD or relevant solar design software.

• Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers and installation teams.

• Willingness to travel for site visits throughout Bangladesh.

Position 2: Sales Engineer

Designation: Sales Engineer – Solar & Engineering Products

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar energy systems and electrical, mechanical and other engineering products.

2. Generate leads and approach potential industrial, commercial and institutional customers.

3. Visit customers, understand their technical requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.

4. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and sales presentations.

5. Coordinate with suppliers regarding product specifications, availability, pricing and procurement.

6. Conduct price negotiations and follow up on quotations, orders and payments.

7. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

8. Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Sc. / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience & Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in solar systems, electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering products.

• Existing customer relationships in relevant industries will be an added advantage.

• Good technical understanding of engineering products and industrial customer requirements.

• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

• Self-motivated, proactive and customer-focused.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits throughout Bangladesh.
