Responsibilities & Context:
Strong technical knowledge of lingerie construction, patterns, molding, wire & elastic techniques, and fabrics (lace, mesh, microfiber, cotton blends, etc.).
Proven ability to handle international buyers.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, and PLM systems will be an advantage.
Buyer Experience: Kontoor Brands/OVS/Damart
Oversee all operations of the Garments Sample Room Specially Bra items including sample production, quality control, and staff management.
Interpret buyer tech packs, specifications, and comments to develop accurate samples. Planning, controlling and monitoring of the whole sample procedure for on time delivery.
Collaborate closely with design and production teams to translate design concepts into physical prototypes.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of sample orders, meeting deadlines and production schedules.
To communicate with merchandiser regularly & collect update information about all kinds sample issues.
Time to Time attend in Buyers meeting in aspect of sample related issue.
Sample approval information provide to planning and production dept.
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all samples meet company standards and customer requirements.
Analyze & apply easiest making procedure on sample developing stage & confirm by buyer approval.
Ensure technical & compliance issues in the sample area.
Manage inventory of sample materials and supplies, optimizing stock levels to support sample production.
