Experience:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a reputed university with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA in the academic record.
Any relevant Professional Certifications (i.e., CFA, FRM etc.) will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 8 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role in Collection & Recovery or Special Asset Management (SAM) within a bank or financial institution.
Strong exposure to NPL management, restructuring, rescheduling, and legal recovery process.
Familiarity with recovery-related regulations (e.g., Artha Rin Adalat Ain, Negotiable Instruments Act) is desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate independently in field environments.
Age not exceeding 45 years as of July 18, 2026. The age limit may be relaxed based on relevant experience.

Rank: First Assistant Vice President to Senior Assistant Vice President (Position will be offered to the deserving candidates on the basis of experience and competence).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective recovery strategies for classified and overdue loan accounts.
Lead, motivate, and manage a recovery team, ensuring they are equipped to meet targets and maintain performance standards.
Monitor and manage the portfolio of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and Special Mention Accounts (SMAs).
Conduct regular reviews of classified accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.
Coordinate with branches, business units, and legal counsels for recovery and legal proceedings.
Monitor loan recovery performance and ensure achievement of recovery targets.
Prepare recovery action plans, restructuring proposals, and settlement recommendations.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, local laws & regulations and internal recovery policies.
Supervise legal cases related to defaulted borrowers and follow up on court proceedings.
Prepare periodic reports, MIS, and portfolio analysis for management and regulatory reporting.
Identify potential risks and recommend remedial measures to minimize credit losses.
Maintain liaison with borrowers, guarantors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders regarding recovery matters.
Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by management in the best interest of the bank.
