Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc (Hon's) and M.Sc in Analytical or Organic Chemistry from any Public University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise all laboratory testing, calibration, certification and reporting activities performed by himself or other laboratory personnel.
∎ Ensure laboratory testing equipment are properly maintained, serviced and calibrated as required.
∎ Ensure all laboratory reagents and chemicals and other supplies are ordered in time, and sufficient stocks are available to undertake testing and evaluation as required.
∎ Interface with corporate regulatory compliance team to meet testing and certification requirement for meeting regulatory monitoring of environment emission and release.
∎ Ensure laboratory shift personnel performs routine quality testing program for production control and product certification
∎ Ensure laboratory personnel are trained to conduct required testing to the precision standard of the test procedures and conducts periodic evaluation and personnel qualifications
∎ Perform testing for crude oil evaluation, different production modes and production of special products.
∎ Study of new product and process development, analysis and process evaluation.
∎ Supervise & guide the chemists & Lab helper for doing the job successfully.
∎ Create a quality culture and prepare all test result documents as per local & International standard.
∎ Prepare daily QC reports & any other QC reports as required.
∎ Organize and maintain lab storage, samples, and specimens
∎ Compile research and information needed for study
∎ Develop new laboratory procedures or enhancements to improve test quality and productivity.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in petroleum and water testing according to ASTM, IP and other recognized standards.
∎ Experienced in product petroleum product testing will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge of Petroleum Characteristics, Processing, product quality and test procedures.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Should have good communication skill.
∎ Should have strong leadership capabilities & team building efficiency.
