Responsibilities & Context:

Primary Job Role:

  • Monitor all QA/QC operations and pre-production activities to ensure that the end product meets the customer quality requirements within AQL.
  • Initiatives to resolve quality-related issues within the business unit.
  • Administrative leadership on QMS to be alive and effective towards sustainable business.
  • Team building with best practices within the department as well as with the cross-functional team.
  • Monitor, drive and lead quality team to achieve their KPI’s

KEY Responsibility:

  • Ensure quality level of all material complies with customer requirement
  • Effective communication and initiatives for corrective and preventive actions whenever required.
  • Do pre-work on the upcoming PCD schedule to hit on-time PPM for bulk cutting.
  • Ensure quality level at end-to-end process following customer requirements within set AQL:
  • Coordinate and guide QA staff to set quality processes to make sure input has the right quality.
  • Carry out effective QMS procedures in all the areas to make sure of error-free product output.
  • Set and monitor an active and Functional quality system (TLS, in-line, end-line, audit) Effectively with the reports.
  • Monitor actual / accurate DHU % on the production floor. 
  • Carry out 100% lot audit for end products to have quality verification prior to pack.
  • Review rejected garments, analyze root causes, and guide responsible teams to minimize reject percentage.
  • Initiative to have a realistic action plan on input / inline / end line & pre-finals audit findings.
  • Daily focus and follow-up on OCD and Final schedules with the GPQ & MM team for on-time shipment

Best administration activities:

  • Provide necessary training and guidelines for QA / QC staff and operation staff.
  • Do an effective workshop schedule for process awareness.
  • Best HR activities with a QA / QC team-building program.
  • People recognitions and a roadmap for skill developments.
  • Coordinate on daily GPQ activities (in-line, pre-final & final) to make decisions with the GPQ.
  • 100% customer satisfaction & top rating on external technical/QMS audits:
  • Strictly follow up customer specifications and sample approval
  • Daily routing audits on QMS / SOPs and best practices towards process sustainability.
  • Customer QA relationship and make sure service levels are met.
  • Make good relations with external QA to facilitate their visit schedules on PPM /Inline /Finals or other activities.
