The Manager Production of Dyeing at a Textile Lab is responsible for overseeing the dyeing processes within the textile lab, ensuring that all dyeing operations meet quality standards and production timelines. This role involves managing a team of dyeing technicians, developing dye recipes, and collaborating with other departments to support product development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Dyeing Process Management:
Oversee all aspects of the dyeing process, including preparation, dyeing, and finishing. Develop and optimize dye recipes to achieve desired colors and effects.
Team Leadership:
Manage and train a team of dyeing technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all dyed materials meet company and industry quality standards through regular inspections and testing. Implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the design and production teams to align dyeing processes with product specifications and timelines. Communicate effectively with suppliers to source dyes and chemicals that meet project requirements.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve color consistency. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to innovate dyeing techniques.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the dyeing lab. Conduct training sessions on safety procedures and proper handling of dyes and chemicals.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of dye recipes, batch production, and quality control metrics. Prepare reports for management on dyeing performance, issues, and improvement initiatives
