Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering or Fashion Designing
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Enhance company portfolio through developing new product, new buyers and improved ways of working.
∎ Forecast trends, develop inspirational ideas and offer own collection which are saleable to international brands.
∎ Understands and able to analyze in details cost breakdowns of product.
∎ Act as a trouble shooter in all aspect of garments developments.
∎ Ability to work closely with all the stakeholders including design team in UK and ensure .T&A are maintained on development process.
∎ Lead a team of product developer to ensure right quality during development process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experienced in a reputed woven tops manufacturing unit.
∎ Ability to understand garments construction, consumption, CAD & pattern.
∎ Have extensive knowledge on sources of fabrics, accessories and current cost.
∎ Should have knowledge in different types of dyeing/printing/ wash/embellishments and styling.
∎ Strong communication skills in written & spoken English & Bengali.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and in a goal driven environment.
