Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Offset Printing Production & Development section in a fast-growing packaging company. The position will be responsible for planning, supervising, and developing high-quality printed products including Insert Cards, Hangtags, Boxes, Labels, Oven Labels, RFID, Thermal Stickers, Stickers, Paper Bags, Office Documents/Formats, and Backboards.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Heat Seal Printing and Sublimation Printing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Offset Printing Production & Development section.

• Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer deadlines while ensuring optimal resource utilization.

• Monitor and control production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.

• Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and maintenance in coordination with the maintenance team.

2. Product Development & Innovation

• Develop new designs, materials, and techniques for product improvement and diversification.

• Work closely with design, R&D, and procurement teams for sampling and new product trials.

• Maintain updated knowledge of printing trends, substrates, and technologies, especially in Heat Seal and Sublimation Printing.

3. Quality Assurance

• Ensure printed items meet customer specifications, internal standards, and compliance requirements.

• Implement quality control measures at every stage of production.

• Address customer feedback promptly and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

4. Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide supervisors, machine operators, and helpers in the section.

• Develop team capabilities through training, coaching, and performance evaluation.

• Promote a safe and disciplined work environment in compliance with company policies.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with marketing, sales, procurement, and logistics for smooth order execution.

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management.

• Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods for the section.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (preferred: Master’s degree).

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in offset printing production, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/section head role.

• Strong knowledge of printing machines, inks, substrates, and finishing processes.

• Hands-on experience in developing products such as Hangtags, Boxes, Labels, Stickers, and related items.

• Experience in Heat Seal Printing and Sublimation Printing will be given preference.

• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills in English and Bengali.
