∎ JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent will help to define, communicate and drive the strategic vision and goals of the project. Will take responsibility for the raising capacity of the staff and community to ensure the rights of migrant workers. Take the full ownership of the overall project and find new ways to make the project more productive by providing effective methods in the operational and strategical decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure project plans and schedules are duly followed.
∎ Providing solutions for the current challenges in the project and directing others for successful completion of project on time and in budget.
∎ Oversee project activities and communicate with the relevant stakeholders and helping other teams and stakeholders to define, communicate and drive the strategic vision and goal of the project.
∎ Ensure project activities complies with the policies and regulations of BRAC and the donors. Also share the activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to BRAC and donor.
∎ The incumbent will be responsible to oversee the development and execution of the project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring the process.
∎ Provide advice on 'Best Practice' approach which is practical and result oriented to all the aspects of the programme and project.
∎ Ensure close collaboration and coordination with the cooperating partners/BRAC departments/GoB/ ministries to ensure smooth implementation of safe migration, reintegration activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements.
∎ Take necessary action for the project plans, roles and responsibilities; and complete the necessary communications which is defined and completed for a standard programme framework.
∎ Work closely with the team members to provide training on strategic initiatives, project operation, problem solving, prioritization of work and improving quality. Will also develop and evaluate the tools and techniques used by the project to manage the project.
∎ Troubleshoot project problems, launch initiatives to reduce operational costs and defects, implement creative solutions and mentor team members by sharing tips and techniques.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' experience in the development field especially in Migration sector
