Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Understanding about the latest merchandising trends and best practices in EU and Indian textile Industry.
∎ • Exposure of textile production management & ready-made garment manufacturing.
∎ • Up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and textile technology.
∎ • Strong understanding of fabric and ready-made garments dynamics.
∎ • Knowledge of buyer house compliances and regulatory rules is preferable.
∎ • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS/ERP) is preferable Ensures process adherence of SOPs in his team; periodical auditing their utility and reinvent in consultation with management if so require
∎ • Knows the strengths and challenges of each team member and sets goals, expectations and responsibilities without ambiguity. Delegates work, inspects expectations & work and gives feedback regularly. Coaches, mentors and motivates team on the ground.
∎ • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
∎ • Coordinate with the buyer on post-delivery commercials.
∎ • Monitor and track other production houses for sub-contract projects on AOP – All over print and Yarn Dyeing specified by Buyers’.
∎ • Monitor and coordinate ensure all the units/lines are inspected and audited as per Buyer’s requirement and delivering finished Pattern/fabric as per buyer’s quality standards.
∎ • Monitor, coordinate and ensure smooth workflow for RMG testing & CPC report from Buyers’ house.
∎ • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
∎ • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
∎ • Coordinate with all the production units, Sewing, Textile, Inventory, Embroidery, Cutting and Finishing for ensuring accurate product as per Buyer’s specification.
∎ • Track trends on buyer’s validity report, quotes, inventory supply, production unit/line and shipping costs.
∎ • Bifurcate duties and responsibilities evenly to equipped and resourced employees
Salary: Negotiable
