Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ Bachelors in Apparel Merchandising & Management from a reputed University.
∎ Skills Required: Analytical Skills, Communication in English, creativity and innovation, Negotiation Skills, Problem solving and decision making, Target Oriented, Team Leadership

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Apparel merchandising, Garments Merchandising, Marketing and merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain communication with local buying agents and overseas buyers and follow up on samples as per requirements.
∎ Arrange sourcing of fabric, trims, accessories, etc. from suppliers for timely production of finished goods and fulfil buyer demands.
∎ Communicate customer's requirements to factory. Coordinate with cross functional teams like Commercial, Design Team, Testing, Cutting and Sewing Unit, Quality Control, Finishing, etc. to fulfil order quality and quantity targets.
∎ Arrange sample submission to customers for approval.
∎ Assist the product development process to ensure that products meet customers quality.
∎ Prepare consumption and costing of sample product and match with buyer requirement.
∎ Handle day-to-day Merchandising operations.
∎ Ensure bulk order that achieves monthly sales target.
∎ Review cost packages & purchase orders.
∎ Maintain style-wise data and requirement sheet and required Management Information System (MIS).
∎ Use marketing techniques to expand business and onboard new buyers from different locations/countries.
∎ Assist in negotiating commercial terms and conditions, including pricing for the products.
∎ Provide day to day marketing and sales reports to Management.
∎ Participate in various trade/apparel shows to exhibit company products successfully.
∎ Perform any other ad-hoc functions as required from Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in dealing with and communications with buyers and suppliers.
∎ Possess up-market standards of proficiency in Business Communication and English.
∎ Proficient in computer applications.
∎ Knowledge of market competition.
