Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review the non-confirming testing & reports and analyze the root cause & suggest corrective and/or preventive action for testing problems;
∎ Reassess of every test result which will be done by junior officials;
∎ Maintain the quality of chemical as per standard way;
∎ Maintain high quality standards in testing & timely delivery of test result;
∎ Follow-up decisions of accepting or rejecting any test result;
∎ Ensure preparing of the following test conducted as per AATCC, ASTM, JIS and ISO approved method: a) Color fastness analysis for textile fabric like colorfastness to washing, water, and crocking, light, and wet light, b) Physical analysis for fabric like mass per unit of fabrics, c) Fabric identification by qualitative and quantitative analysis, d) Pilling resistance, bursting strength, snagging test, e) Dimension stability of fabric and garments, appearance test on garments/fabric, bowing/skew ness, f) Mechanical Test: Like-Universal tester, light fastness, pilling, bursting test, moisture test, etc;
∎ Maintain timely calibration, verification and maintenance of the measuring and test equipment;
∎ Follow-up frequent audit/or compatibility for specified test method;
∎ Define the list of selected equipments where “Periodic Calibration Check” is required and inform to Equipment Engineers to check & record data;
∎ Prepare and amend Quality Manual, MSP Manual, SOPs and Work Instructions;
∎ Approve the use of laboratory In-house developed methods after scrutinizing the same;
∎ Provide guidance for the modification, developing and validating new methods;
∎ Look after approved audit and conduct timely like M&S, PVH ,C&A, H&M, CELIO, NEXT, TARGET AUSTRALIA and EXPRESS;
∎ Arrange for all necessary internal and external customer’s physical, chemical report, recommendations/or buyer protocol/operational manuals;
∎ Support to Department head to Establish systems, procedures and requirements of Laboratory as per requisites of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO 9001 or any other Buyer in-house Manual / SOp;
∎ Effective Communication with 3rd Party Laboratory and Cross functional team for more understanding;
∎ Work to achieve organization growth and profitability with optimum working capital.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Capable to communicate laboratory Auditor, texting laboratory and machine supplier (home and abroad);
∎ The incumbent should have at least 2 years work experience in similar role with large apparel Industry;
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
