- 3 years’ experience in a similar position is a must.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel / Resort
- At least 3 years of hotel experience in a similar position in any 4/5 star hotel/resort is required.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deal with challenging situations in a sensitive and creative manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skill
- Proven ability to work independently and working together with other colleagues
- Excellent command of proper spoken English is a prerequisite
- Knowledge on Labor law is a must
Responsibilities & Context: DuSai Resort & Spa
Job Location: Moulvibazar, Sylhet.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall supervision and monitoring for the smooth running of all HR-related activities.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Provide ideas, instruction and solution of problems arising in day-to-day operational work to the HR team.
- Discuss with higher authority and management for taking decisions on various important issues when needed.
- All kinds of Interdepartmental coordination are relevant to HR tasks.
- Preparing monthly salary and overtime sheet and sending it to accounts department for further action.
- To administer the Staff Performance Appraisal Review process for annual increment and confirmation.
- Communicate with staff and handle matters such as allowances claim, salary payment, deductions, adjustments, transfer, promotions, dismissal, discharge and termination.
- Hearing and resolving employee grievances, counseling employees and supervisors.
- All kinds of tasks and responsibilities are assigned by higher authorities and management.
- Formulate necessary training program for various departments, maintain training calendar & organize training sessions for employees.
- Plan schedules and organize employee engagement activities regularly.
