Responsibilities & Context:
  • Implement and maintain a robust performance management system for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer’s COC, Labor Law 2006, and Labor Rules.
  • Prepare the factory for various audits, including social compliance, technical/quality assurance, and security system audits (CTPAT), FCCA, SCS, GSV, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Accord, Alliance, and RSC requirements for electrical, fire protection/detection/SLD/LPS, and building codes. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as per the in-house checklist.
  • Manage attendance, salary administration, leave management, compensation benefits, and incentive schemes.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including orientation/induction programs, exit interviews, and final settlements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong administration and surveillance system to enhance productivity.
  • Manage employee/labor relations and legal affairs.
  • Oversee disciplinary actions, departmental inquiries, and grievance handling.
  • Manage expenditures related to staff and workers’ salaries, overtime, night allowances, incentives, and final settlement bills.
  • Maintain relationships with local bodies, buyer representatives, and government agencies.
  • Update and maintain all licenses and certificates.
  • Ensure all data, records, reports, formats, statements, ranks and files, books, and registers of all departments are properly prepared, issued, updated, and maintained as per compliance requirements/standards.
  • Perform any other activities assigned by management from time to time.
