Job Context:
Seeking a results-driven Manager – Fabric Merchandising & Planning (Knit Fabric) to lead the business growth through securing high-volume Knit fabric orders. The role requires strong networking with buying houses, RMG factories, and subcontracting partners. The candidate will be required to manage the sales process from start to finish, fulfill orders, deliver on time, and collect payments to ensure customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and secure B2B Knit fabric orders from local clients, RMG factories, and buying houses.
Maintain and expand an extensive network of subcontracting clients.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and technical specifications with clients.
Build and sustain long-term relationships to generate repeat business.
Coordinate with subcontracted suppliers/manufacturers to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor production progress to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
Ensure timely completion of all orders with high service standards.
Oversee logistics to ensure timely transportation of goods.
Align supply chain and production departments for efficient operations.
Coordinate with Accounts to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment collection.
Monitor client credit and minimize outstanding receivables.
Maintain detailed client profiles, order records, and production documentation.
Provide weekly sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
Work under defined sales targets focusing on profitability and efficiency.
Eligible for performance-based incentives upon achieving assigned targets.
