Experience:
Educational & Professional Requirements-
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferably Law, with special training in land law & Land Management, or related field.
Retired KGO (Kanungo) / Surveyor will be given preference.
Experience Requirements-
Practical experience in land survey, settlement, and mutation processes.
Prior experience working with City Corporation / Land Offices during survey or settlement operations will be highly preferred.
Strong exposure to land dispute handling and documentation preparation.

Government regulatory processes and permissions

Job Summary
The Manager – Estate will be responsible for managing land-related documentation, survey processes, mutation, legal coordination, and regulatory compliance. The role requires in-depth knowledge of land laws, settlement procedures, and government processes to ensure proper administration, protection, and acquisition of company land properties.
Handle and process mutation cases with AC Land Office, RAJUK, and other authorities.
Verify and scrutinize documents for land transfer, registration, and sale permission (RAJUK/Ministry).
Maintain liaison with government offices regarding land-related matters.
Prepare and manage documentation for civil cases (Title Suit, Injunction, Succession, etc.).
Draft Statement of Facts (SF) for cases initiated by opposing parties.
Supervise and support land survey and settlement operations, including dispute (US-30) and appeal (US-31) submissions.
Ensure proper documentation to justify land classification during acquisition.
Manage land development tax (LD Tax) matters, including calculation and payment procedures.
Process mutation/name changes with City Corporation, WASA, Titas, and other authorities.
Prepare applications for prior permission from DC Office for industrial land purchase (inside and outside city corporation).
Handle redemption of property and preparation of mortgage documentation.
Ensure compliance with land reform regulations, including P.O-96, P.O-98, and Land Reform Commission guidelines (1984).
Maintain updated knowledge of KA & KHA Tapsils of Vested Property and other relevant laws, rules, and circulars.
Maintain and update all land records, files, and documentation systematically.
