Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • To keep written records of the amount of fabric dyed or finished or the amount of chemicals used.
∎ • Communicate with co-workers, who perform other parts of the manufacturing process, and must notify management in the case of machine malfunctions.
∎ • Must have the stamina to stay on their feet for extended periods of time.
∎ • To mix the chemical 'recipe' for dyeing both natural and synthetic textiles.
∎ • Deciding which chemical dye formula would create the right colour
∎ • Making up a sample dye and checking to make sure it produces the right results
∎ • Recommending any special finishes or treatments to be applied after the dying process.
∎ • To use computer-controlled instruments to mix dyes.
∎ • Inspect the fabric to ensure they have been finished to the required specifications and no defects are present.
∎ • Advice to mix the chemicals and dyes they use in their machines
∎ • Responsible for Fabric finishing ( Production & Sample)
∎ • Competence in different Fleece Fabric Quality
∎ • Close monitoring of finishing process.
∎ • To lead a team in finishing floor.
∎ • Ensure excellent fabric quality.
∎ • Ensure the measurements of cartons, quality of packaging, side marks of cartons, destination etc
∎ • Finishing manager examine the garment, if seam puckering is develops after washing or ironing
∎ • Finishing inspector ensures that packed garment are matches with the approved finished garment
∎ • Ensure the measurements of cartons, quality of packaging, side marks of cartons, destination etc
∎ • Ensures that, the dusts are removed and the hang tags are properly set on garment
Salary: Negotiable
