Production Planning & Scheduling:

• Develop and implement cutting plans aligned with production schedules.

• Coordinate with production and planning departments to meet deadlines and manage workload distribution.

Quality Control:

• Ensure cutting quality meets industry standards and specifications.

• Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed.

Material Management:

• Oversee material handling, including fabric allocation and utilization to minimize wastage.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of materials and coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams for timely stock replenishment.

Team Management:

• Supervise and manage the cutting team, including training, performance evaluation, and shift scheduling.

• Promote a safe and productive work environment.

Process Optimization:

• Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Implement best practices and optimize cutting techniques to improve production output.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure cutting machines are regularly maintained and calibrated.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot any equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the cutting section.

• Conduct regular safety training sessions for team members to ensure a safe working environment.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on cutting performance, material wastage, and team productivity.

• Maintain accurate records of cutting metrics, machine maintenance, and team attendance.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

• Work closely with design, production, and quality control teams to align on specifications and changes.

• Communicate with management effectively to address any cutting-related issues that may impact production.
