Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Accounting
∎ CMA Course Completed from a reputed institute
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have practical knowledge in preparing profit and loss statement of export LCs, preparation of stock/book report, LC costing, raw material costing method of garments accessories etc.
∎ Prepare budget; annual, half yearly, quarterly, monthly and follow up regularly.
∎ Present budget to top management time to time.
∎ Work in conjunction with all department heads to ensure maximum profitability.
∎ Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections.
∎ Assess all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure the best price.
∎ Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs.
∎ Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost.
∎ Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste.
∎ Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers.
∎ Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
∎ Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
∎ Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
∎ Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
∎ Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.
∎ Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost.
∎ Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
∎ Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
∎ Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
∎ Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
∎ Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
