Now over 8000 employees are working in different Strategic Business Units under the group. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated person for the following position.
∎ The purpose of the position responsible for pattern direction, fabric selection, proto and tech packs preparation as per instruction of buyers through merchandisers. The position work with technical/CAD department for the preparation of marker ratio, cutting plan, type of marker ensure availability during cutting. The position will be under the direct supervision of the factory head.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position mainly responsible for the below tasks:
∎ Ensure pattern as per the requirement given by the buyer through merchandiser.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of pattern for smooth business operation.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD and making hundred percent accurate markers and provide to cutting department & follow up it in practical.
∎ Ensure that any change made in the approved sample is communicated to the concern persons timely.
∎ Create a master pattern for each size which within a range of garment sizes, using measurement charts, drafting instruments, CAD computers, and/or grading devise.
∎ Mark samples and finished patterns with information such as garment size, section, style, identification, and sewing instructions.
∎ Position and cut out master or sample or sample patterns, using scissors and knives, or print out copies of patterns, using computers.
∎ Test patterns by making and fitting sample products.
∎ Carry out making patterns to test-fit pattern for fit to rectifying patterns.
∎ Support and advise the team to find the best solution to reduce fabric wastage and to achieve maximum fabric use.
∎ Must advance knowledge on Optitex and Winda CAD software.
∎ Perform any other task as & when assigned by factory head.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years’ where 3 years as a managerial position;
∎ Incumbent’s those who have work experience of garments/Knit industry will get preferences;
∎ Should have enough knowledge on CAD, SMV, Efficiency, Time & Motions Study, capacity planning and cost per minute.
∎ Should be an expert on Garment making (Cut-n-Sew), Machines and all the standard operating procedures related with production.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work;
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
