Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc or Diploma in Textile Engineering (Majored in Fabrics) with adequate knowledge in Woven Fabrics Manufacturing Industry.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall operation of Weaving Department.
∎ Responsible for well and efficient functioning of Sizing and Warping Sections.
∎ Responsible for the activity of Quality, Mending and Folding Sections.
∎ Responsible for the activity of Cone Winding.
∎ Yarn management.
∎ Analyze every production stage of woven fabrics manufacturing process to minimize wastage percentage.
∎ Take necessary initiative to improve overall production efficiency of all weaving looms.
∎ Analyze production reports to ensure standard production capacity.
∎ Ensure proper quality of the fabrics.
∎ Visit and control different weaving units.
∎ Reconcile Grey Demand with concerned Yarn Requisition.
∎ Production plan as per incoming orders from Marketing Department.
∎ Monitor the loom by loom production and achieve the production target on daily basis.
∎ Analyze any new quality & provide required information to costing personnel & Marketing department to
∎ offer price & to develop new order.
∎ Take necessary action to develop new quality requested by customers & submit sample accordingly.
∎ Research for developing new fabric quality to expand business field.
∎ Analyze the monthly production plan, sort out the loop holes and give necessary direction to achieve the
∎ production target.
∎ Coordinate with other department in order to ensure smooth production.
∎ Coordinate with maintenance team & arrange to procure required M/C, materials & parts.
∎ Correspondence with the relevant department regarding fabric on the basis of the order sheet.
∎ Getting the PP samples approved by the buyers and take necessary steps in time.
∎ Manage urgent and critical situations on processing multiple orders at the same time.
∎ Ensure daily functional activities of the department by giving proper support and any other tasks as assigned
∎ by superior.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of production wastage like rejection, alteration and unnecessary
∎ extra hour work.
∎ Conduct the daily production meeting to achieve the weekly production schedule.
∎ Responsible for the best output as well as on time fabric delivery for all orders.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career
∎ development.
∎ Prepare daily reports on production, maintenance, people, quality, safety, consumption & monthly stock.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Foster a positive and responsive culture whilst ensuring the production schedule is meet.
∎ Any other special assignment conferred by the management.
∎ Follow up and monitor overall Weaving process, housekeeping and compliance issues of Weaving floors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 7 to 10 years experience in any prominent woven fabrics manufacturing industry.
∎ Production planning, weaving.
∎ Adequate experience to manage job independently.
∎ Has good leadership and communications skills, both written and verbal.
∎ Good command over computer, e-mail, internet, report writing, MS office.
