• The incumbent is responsible for handling the maintenance department of the factory. A thorough understanding of the working principles of the following machineries is expected: Washing Machine, Hydro Extractor, Dryer & all other Electrical appliances.

• Electrical, Mechanical & Fire equipment maintenance-follow up the daily checklist activities day to day. 

• To ensure all In-house Electrical, Mechanical & maintenance related equipment’s are available.

• Monitoring & auditing Electrical and Mechanical regulation for all the subordinates of the department.

• Should have a vast knowledge of maintenance management to ensure safety in the industry.

• Give monthly training to all employee on Electrical safety awareness.

• Perform start-up and shut-down activities of the chemical process by Distributed Control System (DCS) to run a smooth Operation.

• Assist in finding operational problems and troubleshooting during plant operation.

• Support the production team to resolve issues and enhance departmental and operational processes.

• Assist in maintenance work of various pumps, compressors, and replacement tasks of mechanical seals of pumps, valves, seal pot oil, etc.

• Identify the actual condition of column trays, rotary equipment, piping, vessels, columns and tanks to reduce the possibility of technical malfunction.

• Maintain log sheet, operator logbook and normal/abnormal parameters to ensure proper tracking of the circumstances.

• Assist in operating erection and commissioning of machines when required.

• Assist in analyzing trends and taking corrective measures for repetitive problems.

• Prepare mechanical instrument requisitions for preventive and regular maintenance.

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and machinery of the Chemical Plant to identify hazards, defects and need for adjustment or repair.

• Prepare different types of reports such as preventive maintenance reports and machine breakdown reports by using tools like Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and submit them to the supervisor.   

• Manage machinery and spare parts inventory using the company software.

• Track material consumption trends and reduce wastage and excess procurement.

• Lead emergency repair actions.

• Liaise with third-party service providers for specialized maintenance issues.

• Ensure compliance with all occupational safety standards and environmental regulations.

• Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments for plant safety.
