• 2 to 3 years

• Graduate Engineer (Mechanical & IPE)

• 2 to 3 years

• knowledge of plant operational systems including refrigeration, electrical, air and piping

• Has knowledge of PLCs, fillers, packaging equipment and support equipment.

• the ability to work co-operatively and liaise with people at all levels.

• good team-working skills

• the confidence to respond positively when under pressure.

• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.

• Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.

• Must attain the ability to read and understand blueprints & written Technical and basic instructions.

• Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned maintenance work.
• Diagnosing breakdown problems and oversee time-critical repairs.
• Calibration and maintenance of measuring, inspection and test equipment
• Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians and fitters
• Liaising with client departments and customers
• Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
• Controlling maintenance tools, stores, equipment and spares
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs
• Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
• Assists in preparation and implementation of capital and departmental budgets for utility engineering and construction activities.
• Designs in-house capital improvement projects; and performs project management activities.
• Adheres to personal and departmental compliance with all safety regulations and safety policies.
• Organizes work to ensure that it can be accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains a positive attitude with team/unit.
• ISO and NOSA activities.
• Maintains good public relations.
