Experience:
Tertiary education in finance / CA or CMA intermediate/ master’s in accounting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Adequate knowledge on Tax and VAT law .
Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to influence executives in a multi-cultural environment.
Large company experience, preferably in multinational manufacturing organisations.
Experience of working in ERP environment.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Principal Responsibilities:
Develop and implement VAT/Tax strategies that align with the company`s financial goals, comply with local VAT/Tax regulations and mitigate risks.
Ensure accurate and timely filing VAT/Tax Return.
Maintain properly purchase register 6.1, Sales register 6.2, and all other register as per VAT and SD Act, 2012 & Rules 2016.
Ensure compliance with VAT/Tax regulations and rules, including registration, reporting, and payment requirements.
Implement & Maintain VAT software as per Govt. Rules.
Handling VAT/Tax Audit conducted by VAT/Tax Authorities and other Govt. Auditors.
Represent the company in legal proceedings as well as maintaining liaison with the concerned VAT/Tax, Customs and Govt. Offices.
Maintaining file and documents related VAT/Tax in accounts department.
Stay up-to-date with changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
Attend and lead income tax assessment hearings, providing expert guidance and representation.
Meet internal and external VAT/Tax reporting deadlines.
Provide accurate Tax and VAT information, statements, and guidance to cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with departments to integrate Tax and VAT considerations into business processes.
Ensure accurate recording of Collections from Customers.
Prepare BRS for collection account
Review and monitoring Accounts Receivables related transactions and timely reporting.
Undertake additional tasks assigned by senior management, providing expertise and support as needed.
Key interfaces:
Work closely with the business unit heads and other managers within the country, external organizations including industry and legislative bodies.
Collaboration with the ESAB group and other functions.
