Experience:
Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a regular basis.
Record acquisition, capitalization, transfer, adjustment, and disposal of assets.
Ensure assets are tagged, coded, and classified correctly as per policy.
Coordinate with procurement and stores to verify asset receipt and installation.
Compute monthly depreciation as per accounting standards and company policy.
Ensure integration with ERP for automatic or manual depreciation posting.
Review useful life, residual values, and revaluation requirements.
Conduct periodic and annual physical verification of assets.
Match physical count with the FAR and report discrepancies.
Follow up on missing, damaged, or obsolete assets.
Support internal and external auditors during asset audits.
Track CWIP projects and ensure timely capitalization upon completion.
Coordinate with project teams, engineering, or IT for status updates.
Prepare monthly CWIP progress reports.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly fixed asset reports.
Support financial statements with accurate asset-related schedules.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS, tax rules, and internal controls.
Prepare supporting documents for audit queries and compliance reviews.
