Experience:
MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant discipline.
Partly qualified CA, CMA or ACCA candidates will be given preference.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional experience.
Practical experience in treasury, fund management, corporate banking, working-capital management and financial reporting.
Experience working with a large group of companies, manufacturing organization or diversified business will be preferred.
A reputed and diversified Group of Companies is seeking an experienced finance professional to support treasury operations, fund management, banking relationships, working-capital planning and financial reporting across its business units. The role will contribute to ensuring the availability of cost-effective funds and efficient utilization of banking facilities.
Support the development and execution of fund-management strategies, including fund raising, utilization and disbursement.
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to arrange short-term and long-term financing for business operations and new projects.
Identify cost-effective financing options, including short-term loans, structured facilities, commercial papers and other suitable financial instruments.
Ensure the timely availability of funds for vendor payments, raw-material procurement, operating expenses, salaries and wages.
Prepare fund-utilization plans and monitor unit-wise or project-wise loan disbursement.
Manage working capital and ensure the timely settlement and adjustment of working-capital and term-loan facilities.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on available credit facilities, collections, fund disbursements, cash flows and rolling forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare management information reports as required by senior management.
Review and approve customer collections after verifying bank confirmation, VAT, AIT and other supporting documents.
Arrange issuance and extension of bank guarantees, including Bid Bonds, Performance Guarantees, Advance Payment Guarantees and other guarantees.
Coordinate regulatory approval for foreign-currency guarantees, standby letters of credit and counter-guarantees, where applicable.
Prepare proposals and supporting documents for credit facilities, credit ratings and bank correspondence.
Maintain regular communication with banks regarding work orders, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and business performance.
Negotiate with banks and financial institutions to secure competitive financing costs and foreign-exchange conversion rates.
Coordinate with internal departments, including Accounts, Commercial, Tax, VAT, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Internal Audit, IT and HR.
Supervise team activities, monitor performance and promote accountability, collaboration and continuous development.
