Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and supervise the Tax Team and oversee the preparation of financial statements.
Manage Income Tax Return preparation, submission, and represent the organization during Income Tax hearings.
Handle RJSC-related activities including RJSC return filing, share allotment, new company formation, share transfer, and company winding-up processes.
Supervise and prepare monthly Withholding Tax Returns and submit them to the relevant Tax Office.
Supervise and prepare all types of ledger accounts across all 43 group entities under the company per tax bases.
Prepare Treasury Challans, submit them to Bangladesh Bank, and manage collection and handover to various parties.
Oversee all Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) matters, party-wise TDS calculations, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Perform any other task assigned by the management as needed.
