Responsibilities & Context:

  • Provide timely and reliable management visibility on budget performance, cost trends, and key financial and operational KPIs.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.

  • Analyze actual performance against budget, standard cost, and prior-period results, with clear identification of significant variances.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis of cost and budget variances and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.

  • Analyze manufacturing, commercial, inventory, and operational costs, including raw material consumption, yield, wastage, utilities, labor, and other key cost drivers.

  • Monitor inventory movements, reconciliation, valuation, and discrepancies to strengthen cost and working-capital control.

  • Support CAPEX, CWIP, and fixed asset monitoring and assess their impact on financial and operational performance.

  • Strengthen KPI governance through regular performance monitoring, validation, and early escalation of performance gaps.

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly management reports, dashboards, forecasts, and variance analysis with actionable insights.

  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams to collect, validate, and analyze cost and performance data.

  • Drive corrective measures and cost optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and overall budget performance.

  • Ensure compliance with costing policies, internal controls, ERP processes, and reporting requirements.

  • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations for decision-making.
