BBA/MBA in Marketing from a reputed university.
MBA or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
Experience:
Approximately 6–10 years of relevant experience in Brand Management/Marketing, preferably within cement, steel, building materials, FMCG, consumer durables, or another distribution-intensive industry.
Candidates considered for Manager level should demonstrate strong independent brand ownership and team/agency leadership experience.

Own and continuously develop the brand strategy, positioning, value proposition, communication architecture, and annual brand plan for Akij Cement.
Act as the brand custodian and ensure consistent application of brand identity, messaging, tone, and guidelines across ATL, BTL, digital, trade, POSM, events, and corporate communication.
Develop the Annual Marketing Plan and Budget aligned with sales objectives, market priorities, product strategy, and overall business goals.
Translate market intelligence into actionable plans through structured analysis of consumer, competition, company, channel, and influencer insights.
Monitor cement industry trends, competitor pricing, communication, product propositions, promotions, distribution activities, and market movements.
Develop and execute integrated campaigns covering consumer communication, trade marketing, digital, retail activation, and on-ground engagement.
Manage programs for key referral and influencer groups including engineers, masons, contractors, developers, architects, retailers, and other construction ecosystem stakeholders.
Work closely with Sales to develop effective dealer/retailer programs, trade offers, market activation, POSM deployment, and demand-generation initiatives.
Identify consumer and channel pain points and convert them into communication, product, service, or activation opportunities.
Lead agency briefing and coordinate with creative, digital, media, research, event, activation, and production partners.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Production, Commercial, Technical Services, and Digital/Creative teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing plans.
Manage new product/SKU launches, packaging changes, product proposition development, and go-to-market communication when required.
Track marketing effectiveness through ROMI, campaign KPIs, lead generation, conversion, reach, engagement, brand health, trade response, and sales contribution.
Manage the marketing budget with strong control over planning, utilization, variance, vendor costs, and campaign ROI.
Conduct regular market visits to understand retailer, dealer, engineer, mason, contractor, and consumer behavior firsthand.
Prepare monthly/quarterly Brand Performance Reviews highlighting performance, competitive developments, key learnings, risks, and recommended actions.
Build a structured repository of market intelligence, campaign learnings, consumer insights, competitor activities, and brand assets.
