Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, Commerce or related discipline.
Professional qualification/training in VAT & Mushak will be highly preferred.
Age should be within 40 years.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory position.
Practical experience in Store & Inventory Management in Spinning/Textile Manufacturing Industry is highly preferred.
Must have practical knowledge and experience in VAT/Mushak documentation and compliance.
Candidates with experience managing Store operations of multiple factories/units will get preference.
Must have sound knowledge of computer applications and relevant software & good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bangla.
Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, hardworking, and possess strong initiative with the ability to work independently.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of Store & Inventory Management.
Practical knowledge of VAT & Mushak procedures.
Hands-on experience with Mushak Forms and VAT-related Books/Registers.
Good knowledge of ERP/Inventory Management Software.
Strong MS Excel skills.
Excellent stock reconciliation and analytical ability.
Good understanding of Store, Accounts and VAT reconciliation.
Strong leadership and team management capability.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Honest, disciplined and capable of maintaining strong internal controls.

Job Context
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – Store Department to oversee the overall Store, Inventory and VAT/Mushak-related activities of our 100% export-oriented Spinning Mills. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring effective inventory control, proper documentation, material receiving and issuance, stock reconciliation, and compliance with applicable VAT & Mushak rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
Store & Inventory Management
Supervise and manage overall Store & Inventory operations of both factories.
Manage Raw Materials, Cotton, Spare Parts, Electrical Items, Packing Materials, Chemicals, Lubricants and General Store Items.
Ensure proper receiving, inspection, identification, storage, preservation and issuance of materials.
Verify quantity, specification and condition of materials against Purchase Order, Challan and supporting documents.
Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of GRN/MRN, Store Requisition, Material Issue and Material Return documents.
Maintain accurate Bin Cards, Stock Registers and ERP/Inventory records.
Ensure proper authorization before issuing materials to different departments.
Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels of critical materials and spare parts.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with book/ERP balances.
Investigate and report stock shortages, excess, discrepancies, damages and obsolete materials.
Maintain records of slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete inventory.
Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO system wherever applicable.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Store & Inventory Reports for Management.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, and Accounts & Finance, Commercial and Planning Departments.
Assist Accounts & Finance in stock valuation and inventory reconciliation.
Ensure proper housekeeping, security and safety of Store premises.
VAT & Mushak Management
Manage and supervise all Store-related VAT & Mushak activities.
Ensure proper preparation, issue and preservation of applicable Mushak documents.
Maintain relevant VAT/Mushak Books, Registers and Records related to purchase, receipt, issue, transfer and sale of materials.
Verify VAT-related information in Purchase Invoices, VAT Invoices, Challans and other supporting documents.
Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of Input VAT and Output VAT related to Store transactions.
Assist in preparation of VAT Return and VAT-related statements/reports.
Reconcile Store Records, VAT Records and Accounts Records regularly.
Ensure proper documentation for VAT Audit, Internal Audit, External Audit and NBR/VAT Authority inspection.
Maintain and preserve all VAT/Mushak documents and supporting records properly.
Coordinate with VAT Consultant, Accounts & Finance Department and VAT Office/NBR regarding Store-related VAT matters.
Monitor compliance with applicable VAT Act, Rules, SROs, Notifications and regulatory requirements.
Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock, Store records, Accounts records and VAT records.
Ensure timely completion of all Store-related VAT/Mushak documentation and reporting.
Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of applicable Mushak forms, including:
Mushak-6.1 – Purchase/Receipt-related records
Mushak-6.2 – Issue/Transfer-related records
Mushak-6.3 – VAT Invoice
Mushak-6.5 – Input/Output-related documentation
Mushak-6.10 – Purchase/Sale-related supporting records
