A leading international convenience store chain, and one of the largest in its home country is entering the Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited. With an ambitious vision to set new benchmarks in retail customer experience, the project is currently in its pre - opening phase. To be part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a competent Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate all00 functions in close collaboration with both the international project team and local stakeholders.

Job Purpose:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing systems and infrastructure that support logistics and supply operations for the retail chain, inventory flow, transportation, and in-store stock availability ensuring high efficiency and effectiveness across internal services and external partnerships

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement procurement and logistics strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing and replenishment of stock.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate optimal terms for quality good.

• Design and improve warehouse-related business processes and systems to achieve operational efficiency and service excellence.

• Oversee warehouse operations physical stock counts proper tagging, and safety compliance

• Continuously enhance warehouse productivity, space utilization, and operational performance through strategic facility development.

• Collaborate with the Merchandising Division to meet trading term targets agreed with principals.

• Oversee and control national merchandise inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockout conditions, and support Store Sales Bazaar (SSB) initiatives to drive sales growth.

• Provide actionable recommendations and ensure execution of solutions for warehouse-related issues across the network.

• Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve operational bottlenecks and support efficient daily operations.

• Analyze and evaluate warehousing challenges to identify areas for business process improvements.

• Ensure efficient and reliable warehouse and distribution operations that align with company performance goals.
